Get to know me.

Hi! My name is Diego, and I'm currently a Junior at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville studying Theatrical Technology & Design. I have a passion for the live entertainment industry; and my goal is to create unforgettable experiences for audiences from all around the world.

I am strongly passionate about videography, and I've been working on filming live events since 2022. I've been shooting everything from concert and music festival coverage to minor league baseball broadcasts with the Knoxville Smokies, and I edit all my own work in Premiere Pro. I own my camera gear and I'm always looking for the next live event to shoot, whether that's a local venue show or a broadcast crew call.

When it comes to lighting design, and I've been working on it since 2020. I've spent over 5 years running ETC Eos consoles and more than a year building my skills in grandMA3, and I've worked on dozens of shows across that time. I'm drawn to the technical side of lighting: programming, fixture control, and the systems that make a design actually run live. I'm building toward a career in concert and live entertainment lighting.
